It’s a brand new day and the sun is shining for us.
For the past week, I felt like I had to go through the passion of christ while I painfully watch someone very dear to me be persecuted for crimes he did not commit. For the past decades of his life, he had to endure the abuse and sins of his “persecutor”. Abuses and sins that are simply too awful to believe it can all come from one individual, think of the worst things anyone can do to you and multiply that by 1000, think extreme betrayals and murder.
Despite all this, He took it stoically while I raged inside over the injustice of it all. Despite the torment, he can somehow maintain his positive approach to life, always having the uncanny ability to look at the bright side of things. He can somehow maintain his faith in the good of people.
As we approach Easter Sunday, i know we have emerge this dark period victorious. Judging by the dramatic turn of weather today, and the many good news that greeted us this morning, I know everything will be ok. He is free at last. This trial has brought us even closer together.
